Metaconflict appears between V and Kev when they are trying to have a baby. They find out that V is infertile and unable to have children, this is a problem because they are trying to have a child to fix the rest of their relationship problems. They come up with the ‘solution’ of having V’s mother be a surrogate. Throughout the process of V’s mother and Kev having to have sex to conceive, V gets jealous. Thus, causing a metaconflict; the conflict of V being jealous of her mother and not being able to have a child.
