Falsification
Definition: a form of deception that involves presenting false information.
Falsification is lying, or communicating information as though it was true (Floyd, 2017). This is one of most common ways that people deceive others.
Falsification is a prominent aspect in Frank Gallagher’s life; he is a compulsive liar. Frank is constantly making up stories trying to make himself seem like a better person than he actually is. He tells straight-up lies to get money, get out of work, and/or to use people. A good example of falsification is every time Frank tries to get disability payment from the government when he pretends to get hurt at work; he makes up a story about how he got 'injured', and he gets compensation for it. Frank is a professional deceiver because (as explained earlier) he lacks empathy and he doesn't care what people think of him.
