Acts of Dissmulation
Defintion: forms of deception that involve omitting certain details that would change the nature of the story if they were known
We can also associate Frank with acts of dissimulation. Frank constantly lies about everything. He changes the everyday stories he tells to make himself look better depending on who he is telling it to. He leaves out any part where he is in the wrong to make him seem victimized, although nobody ever believes him. He is a compulsive liar who isn’t credible in any sense of the word because he has been caught in his lies and manipulations.

Acts of dissimulation is when we fail to convey information that would change the nature of our story (Floyd, 2017). There are two types; omission and equivocation.
