Supportiveness is displayed greatly when Debbie gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby. Although she is not supported by Fiona, the rest of the family is all on her side and cheering her on as a single mother. Lip, Ian, and Carl do all that they can to help and support Debbie, whether it be buying diapers or babysitting. Even Frank supports her when he finds out that she is going to have a baby (it is for his own scummy reasons, but still). The Gallagher family is their own huge support system; the majority of the time, they will stand behind each other through hell or high water. They need to be supportive of each other because they are all each other has. Their devotion to their family is one of the best displays you'll ever see.
